We help people of all ages discover and develop their musical skills: beginners who want to get to know an instrument in a playful way, just as much as advanced players who want to take their skills further. We don't think of music in boxes: our lessons range from classical to pop and rock all the way to Oriental music, as diverse as Bielefeld itself. How much do music lessons cost at Music Campus Bielefeld?
Private lessons start at €82 per month, group lessons at €39 per month. If you'd rather not commit, the ME Time prepaid card lets you book 4 to 20 lessons with no contract.
How old do you have to be to start?
With Music Kids from about age 3, with instrumental and singing lessons usually from primary school age, and there's no upper limit. Many of our students are adults starting fresh or getting back into music.
How does the trial lesson work?
You fill in the form and we get back to you personally with a suggested time. The trial lesson can usually happen within a week. You get to know your teacher, the rooms and the lessons, play your first notes and then take your time deciding. The trial lesson comes with no obligation.
Do I need my own instrument?
Not for the trial lesson: we have pianos, drums, amps and much more ready for you. For practising at home, your own instrument is worth it later on; we're happy to advise you and put you in touch with a local music shop.
Which styles do you teach?
Classical, rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, musical theatre and Oriental music, depending on the subject and what you'd like.

in the rehearsal room.
Fully equipped rehearsal rooms in Bielefeld, available to rent flexibly: morning, afternoon or evening. For regular band practice, getting ready for a gig or spontaneous jamming. Every room has a PA for vocals, good acoustics and reliable equipment.
Mornings, when your head is clear: the vocal PA and mics are ready to go.
A regular slot or getting ready for a gig: backline, PA, good acoustics.
Evenings: plug in and play on the spur of the moment, even at short notice if the room is free.
