Piano lessons.

The piano is one of the most versatile instruments there is and a perfect way into the world of music. In piano lessons at Music Campus Bielefeld, you'll learn step by step how melody and accompaniment work together and how to quickly make sense of musical connections. Piano lessons build your sense of rhythm, coordination and musical thinking, and help you pick up reading music and harmony in a natural way. In piano lessons in Bielefeld, kids, teenagers and adults discover the many possibilities of this instrument.
Whether it's heartfelt ballads, classical pieces or modern songs, the piano offers endless ways to develop your own style. Piano lessons are also an ideal foundation for many other instruments, because harmonies, chords and musical structures are especially easy to see on the piano. In piano lessons at Music Campus Bielefeld, we help beginners and advanced players develop their musical skills step by step.
Your first song
in one minute.
The glowing key shows you the next note.
How your piano lessons work.
The first lessons
You'll learn to find your way around the keyboard, develop a relaxed hand position and posture, and will soon be playing little melodies, first with one hand, then with both. Reading music comes in step by step, always with pieces you enjoy.
Over time
Chords, accompaniment patterns and independent hands turn melodies into real pieces and songs. Depending on your goals, you'll head towards classical, pop accompaniment, jazz harmony, blues or film music. Playing by ear and your first improvisations are part of it too.
For kids and adults
Kids from age 6 learn through play with short, varied exercises. Adults starting out or returning after years set their own goals with their teacher, from a favourite song to the classical repertoire.
Practising at home
To start with, a digital piano with a weighted keyboard is all you need, and you can play it with headphones too. Ten to twenty minutes a day on a regular basis will get you further than one long practice session a week.
Conveniently located at Jöllenbecker Straße 55, Music Campus Bielefeld offers professional music lessons in singing and all the popular instruments across classical, rock, pop and jazz.
