From what age can you take ukulele lessons?
Ukulele lessons at Music Campus Bielefeld are available from age 6. There's no upper age limit. Many of our students are teenagers and adults who are starting out or coming back after a break.
Do I need my own instrument?
Not for the trial lesson. We have an instrument ready for you. For regular lessons it makes sense to have your own, so you can practise at home. We help you choose and recommend local specialist shops such as Guitar Jail in Bielefeld city centre, where our students often get special deals.
How much do ukulele lessons cost in Bielefeld?
Private lessons start from €82 per month, at 30, 45 or 60 minutes, weekly or by arrangement. If you'd rather not sign a contract, the ME Time prepaid card starts from €36 per lesson (30 minutes). Our office will be happy to give you the details in person. Just call or message us on WhatsApp.
How does the trial lesson work?
You arrange a time by phone, email or WhatsApp. In the trial lesson you meet your teacher, see the rooms, play your first notes and tell us what you'd like to do musically. The trial lesson is free of obligation and commits you to nothing.
What content and styles will I learn?
The focus is on chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, melody playing and fingerstyle. Style-wise, we play what you enjoy: pop, folk, reggae, rock, singer-songwriter. Beginners and advanced players are equally welcome.
