Ear training for singers: a target note sounds and appears as a golden line in the field. Press into the field and drag the note up or down with your finger or mouse until it sits on the line. The display tells you whether you are too high or too low. This trains your ear before you sing the note yourself. Choose your voice type and the vowel.
How your singing lessons work.
The first lessons
Breathing, posture and warming up: you learn how your voice works and how to use it in a healthy, powerful way. Early on, you'll start working on a song you love to sing.
Over time
Vocal range, transitions between chest and head voice, articulation, expression and mic technique. The repertoire ranges from pop and rock to musical theatre, jazz and classical.
For kids and adults
Children from age 6 learn through play and in a way that's gentle on the voice. Adults come with all kinds of goals: a band, a choir, the stage or simply the joy of singing.
Practising at home
A short warm-up every day, plenty of water and listening back to your own recordings. That way you'll hear your progress for yourself. Your teacher will give you exercises that suit you.

From what age can you take singing lessons?
Singing lessons at Music Campus Bielefeld are available from age 6. There's no upper age limit. Many of our students are teens and adults who are starting out or coming back after a break.
Do I need any experience or a “good voice”?
No. Everyone can sing. In singing lessons, you learn a healthy technique that protects your voice and builds its stamina, and step by step you discover new sides of your voice. No prior experience needed.
How much do singing lessons cost in Bielefeld?
Private lessons start from €82 per month, at 30, 45 or 60 minutes, weekly or by arrangement. If you'd rather not sign a contract, the ME Time prepaid card starts from €36 per lesson (30 minutes). Our office will be happy to give you the details in person. Just call or message us on WhatsApp.
How does the trial lesson work?
You arrange a time by phone, email or WhatsApp. In the trial lesson you meet your teacher, see the rooms, play your first notes and tell us what you'd like to do musically. The trial lesson is free of obligation and commits you to nothing.
What content and styles will I learn?
The focus is on breathing technique, voice control, ear training, articulation and song interpretation. Style-wise, we do what you like: pop, rock, musical theatre, jazz, classical. Beginners and advanced singers are equally welcome.
